Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville picked their Premier League Team of the Year for 2020 on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, with Harry Kane and Son Heung-min both making it into the starting eleven.
Kane and Son have both been in spectacular form at the start of this season and their brilliant partnership has been the main reason that Jose Mourinho’s side are still in touching distance of league leaders Liverpool.
Their roles have been reversed this season, with the England captain playing a deeper role and becoming the creator-in-chief while the South Korean is playing a more advanced role and benefiting from Kane’s vision and passing range.
Neville and Carragher both picked Son ahead of Liverpool forward Sadio Mane due to the way the numbers the Spurs star has posted at the start of this season.
They lavished praise on the former Bayer Leverkusen man, insisting that he would start for any team in world football.
Here’s what both pundits had to say about their selections:
Gary 🗣 "Every club in the world would want Son or Mane playing for them"
Carra 🗣 "Son this season has just edged the others"@GNev2 & @Carra23 explain why they chose Son over Sadio Mane in their TOTY pic.twitter.com/v4nLoJp30K

Spurs Web Opinion
It is great to see Son finally getting the recognition he deserves and pundits using the term ‘world-class’ to describe the Tottenham forward. He is certainly up there with the likes of Mane and Salah. The South Korean’s movement sets him apart from the rest while his finishing with both feet is second to none.
