Charlie Adam has claimed that Manchester United are missing a natural number nine in their squad who is a goalscorer similar to Harry Kane.
The former Liverpool and Stoke City midfielder believes that United should look to offer Tottenham £120million for the England captain.
Kane has previously been linked with a move to Old Trafford in a £200million deal only for the former Premier League champions being unwilling to meet the price due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic (Daily Mail).
The 27-year-old is under contract in north London until 2024 which means that Spurs are not in a rush to sell their star man.

Selling Kane to a Premier League rival would be absolute madness and only harm Tottenham’s chances of returning to the top four. Kane is almost guaranteed to bag 20 goals a season, something which Spurs cannot afford to be without.
