It would be fair to say that Chelsea’s Jorginho had an evening to forget after being completely overwhelmed against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Brazilian playmaker was pressured throughout the game by the Tottenham midfield, especially Dele Alli who gave the £50million signing (BBC) little time on the ball due to Mauricio Pochettino’s high pressing style.
Jorginho was left to chase shadows for the majority of the game which was highlighted during Heung-min Son’s stunning solo effort where he left the former Napoli man in his wake before slotting home Tottenham’s third goal of the game at Wembley.
Pochettino certainly did get his tactics spot on.
