Pascal Chimbonda has claimed that Christian Eriksen’s desire to win trophies is the main reason why he wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur.
After making it to the final of last season’s Champions League, Chimbonda claimed that Eriksen will believe that Spurs will not make it to the final two of European football’s most prestigious club competition again or win the Premier League title.
Chimbonda has suggested that if he was the manager of Tottenham he would offer him big money and a longer contract but believes if Real Madrid come calling it will prove to be difficult for any player to turn down.
Eriksen is now in the last twelve months of his contract in North London and urged the playmaker to remain at the club
