Video: Chris Sutton on whether Spurs can recover from their bad start

Chris Sutton has backed Tottenham Hotspur to bounce back from their poor start to the Premier League season.

After the first ten matches, Tottenham have found themselves in the bottom half of the Premier League table in November for the first time since 2014.

The former Blackburn Rovers and Celtic forward believes that Mauricio Pochettino has too many good players in his squad, yet at the same time, there are some who are underperforming.

After the impressive progress which Spurs have made over the past five years where they have become Champions League regulars under the Argentine, Sutton insisted that it is not the time to lose faith in Pochettino after two bad months.

Spurs will be looking to bounce back when they travel to Merseyside for the second weekend in a row when they face Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.

Opinion

Sutton is right, now is not the time for a knee jerk reaction and we must keep the faith in Pochettino. However, he needs to learn fast that the likes of Eriksen need to be dropped if their heart is not in it.
