The vast majority of Tottenham Hotspur fans were once again left frustrated and angry at their side after they were unable to beat Watford.
The rock-bottom Hornets were four minutes away from their first Premier League win of the new campaign, only for Dele Alli to equalise.
After the match, an irate supporter called into the BBC Radio 5 Live Sport to claim that Saturday the 19th of October 2019 was the day which Tottenham Hotspur died after comparing the display to that of a Sunday pub football side.
Former Chelsea and Blackburn Rovers striker challenged the supporter on his claim by insisting that Spurs are seventh in the Premier League table and are only experiencing a blip.
The supporter laid the blame at the door of Mauricio Pochettino over his team selection along with some of his tactical changes throughout the match.
"Saturday the 19th of October 2019. My club Tottenham Hotspur died." @chris_sutton73's response to this #THFC fan?

Opinion
While the supporter’s claim that the club has died is extreme, you cannot blame him for his passion and frustration at the current situation which we find ourselves in.
