It’s a new decade for Tottenham Hotspur and the club will certainly be looking to bring some silverware to North London to end the eleven-year wait.
One of the low points of 2019 came when Spurs were embarrassed by League Two outfit Colchester United in the Carabao Cup, when they knocked of the competition out on penalties.
Colchester were the lowest-ranked team still in the competition at the time and Spurs were sent packing from arguably their best chance of a trophy this season.
Just as the wounds have healed, Colchester aimed a cheeky dig at Spurs on Twitter with a special New Year’s video.
Spurs hardly covered themselves in glory in their first game of 2020 with a toothless display away to Southampton which saw them lose 1-0.
