Video: ‘Criminal’ – Former West Ham man issues warning over Harry Kane’s future

Former West Ham United midfielder Trevor Sinclair has claimed that it is criminal that Tottenham Hotspur have a beautiful stadium but not a team who are able to compete for silverware.

Tottenham failed to end their thirteen year spell without winning a piece of competitive silverware when they failed to threaten against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday with Pep Guardiola’s side having dominated the match.

Sinclair admitted that he sympathises with Harry Kane with the marksman yet to win a trophy during his Spurs career, who he believes should be winning silverware and if the club are not prepared to build a team around him to challenge for honours, should look to leave.

Kane admitted in an interview with Sky Sports yesterday that Tottenham have had a disappointing season and said that individual awards are great but the goal right now is to win team trophies in his career (Sky Sports).
