Cristian Romero has given his first brief video message as a Tottenham Hotspur player after making the move from Serie A outfit, Atalanta.
It was officially announced earlier this evening that Romero had signed on the dotted line in North London, with the reported fee being around £47m.
The Argentine, who recently won the Copa America alongside Tottenham’s Giovani Lo Celso, will soon link up with the Spurs squad in pre-season ahead of an opening weekend match against Manchester City.
Romero expressed his gratitude to the supporters who wanted him to make the switch to North London and revealed his determination to repay the faith that has been shown in him.

Spurs have managed to get the big one over the line! I fully believe that Romero will transform the defence over the next couple of seasons. However, I still want Spurs to kick on and get three more signings in, a right-back, a creative midfielder, and a striker.
