Video: Dane Scarlett masterminds two late goals for Ipswich Town comeback

Dane Scarlett had a superb impact off the bench for Ipswich Town on Saturday, helping his side come from 2-0 down to draw level in the dying stages of the game.

Ipswich looked down and out at St Andrew’s when the Scarlett came on for midfielder Nathan Broadhead on 73 minutes. The Tottenham academy graduate did not take long to make an impact on the game.

The 19-year-old received the ball on the left of the penalty area on 79 minutes, leaving Cody Drameh for dead before firing the ball across the goal for Freddie Ladapo.

While the striker saw his effort saved from point-blank range by John Ruddy, his strike partner Marcus Harness was on hand to fire the loose ball home.

Scarlett then also had a big hand in the equaliser ten minutes later, lifting a pass between two Birmingham players for Omari Hutchinson to collect and cross for Harness who netted his second of the game.
