Danny Rose completed a temporary exit from Tottenham Hotspur last month when he joined Newcastle United on loan for the remainder of the season.
Rose was limited to just five appearances under Jose Mourinho following his appointment on November 20 with the Portuguese instead deciding to play the likes of Japhet Tanganga and Jan Vertonghen on the left side of his defence (transfermarkt).
The 29-year-old was captured on camera by Magpies team-mate Allan Saint-Maximin on his Instagram story where he was about to start his initiation song, but bottled the opportunity got down off the chair he was standing on and walked off to take his seat back among the other players.
The England international has already previously stated his intention to run down his contract at Tottenham after claiming that chairman Daniel Levy has already told him that he will not be offered a new deal when it expires in the summer of 2021 (Telegraph).
