It was announced yesterday that Danny Rose had left Tottenham Hotspur on loan to join up with Newcastle United for the remainder of the Premier League season (Sky Sports).
Rose is Spurs’ longest-serving current senior player having been at the club for 13 years since moving from Leeds United in his youth.
However, the left-back has returned up north with the Magpies and seems to be looking forward to getting his lips around some decent chips.
Doncaster-born Rose joked that finding a decent chip shop had motivated the move:
