Darren Bent has urged Danny Ings to snub a move to Tottenham Hotspur amidst reports that the North Londoners are eyeing a move for the Southampton striker.
Reports indicate that Ings is stalling on signing a new deal at St Mary’s despite being down to the final 18 months of his contract and that Spurs are looking into the possibility of snapping him up in the summer.
While Bent is convinced that Ings is good enough to play European football, he insisted that the 28-year-old will not get enough game time at Spurs, with Harry Kane ahead of him in the pecking order.
Watch what the former Spurs striker said on talkSPORT regarding the speculation over the Saints star’s future:

If it was not obvious already before this season that Kane and Ings could play together, it should certainly be now. The England captain has proven that he can thrive in a deeper role and he can potentially create a lot of goals for Ings with his vision.
