Many Tottenham fans may have taken a 2-2 draw at the Emirates if it was offered before kick-ff, but it was a bitter pill to swallow on the day.
Spurs took a 2-0 lead in the first half against their arch-rivals before letting the Gunners pull one back before half time with some sloppy defending.
Arsenal then grew into the game more and more, pinning Spurs back in the second half and eventually finding the equaliser. The Reds even scored a 3-2 winner, but it was chalked off for offside.
Dele Alli believes that Spurs must be more mature and relentless defensively to see these games out in the future.
"Being 2-0 up we have to be more relentless defensively and a little more mature in the way we played in the second half."
