The Jose Mourinho era at Tottenham got off to a great start with the Lilywhites beating West Ham United 3-2 at the London Stadium to register their first away win in the Premier League since January.
Dele Alli and Son Heung-min, who both put in terrific performances for the side, reflected on what has been a tough week for the players since the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino.
The pair were understandably delighted to get the three points and Dele was asked about whether he was pleased with his individual performance.
In the post-match interview to BT Sport, the Spurs midfielder insisted that he wanted to become even better than he was a couple of years ago and that he was working hard to reach his true potential.

"We've shown that we can go on brilliant runs, but there's still plenty to improve – it should never have been that close!"

Spurs Web Opinion
Dele Alli is the kind of player who will likely respond to challenges and Jose Mourinho’s man-management skills will hopefully get the best out of him. I have been pleased with Alli’s form since his return from injury and believe that a lot of the criticism he’s been getting lately is harsh.
