Dele Alli has rounded off Tottenham Hotspur’s comfortable victory against Maccabi Haifa by extending the scoreline to 7-2.
Ironically, it is a year to the day in which Spurs were thrashed by the same scoreline by Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Dele, who started the game on the substitute’s bench performed a brilliant piece of skill to nutmeg the Maccabi defender within the penalty area before being hauled to the ground.
The referee pointed to the spot and Dele stepped up to calmly slot the ball into the bottom corner of the net.
The victory means that Spurs now advance into the group stage of the Europa League.
