Video: ‘Embarrassing’ – Jamie O’Hara on Espirito Santo and managerial search

Jamie O’Hara has revealed that he believes Nuno Espirito Santo would be a good fit to become Tottenham Hotspur’s new head coach.

The former midfielder claimed that the Portuguese who left Wolves at the end of last season has a good attacking style of play while also looking to move the ball quickly.

O’Hara labelled the search for a new head coach as ’embarrassing considering the size of the club and the period of ten weeks which has elapsed since Jose Mourinho was dismissed in April with the club in seventh place in the Premier League table.

Harry Kane’s future has been the subject of intense speculation with O’Hara believing that the striker’s situation could be proving to be a problem for an incoming head coach and suggested that some previous candidates may have been lined up had second thoughts after reviewing the sheer size of the job at hand.

I have to question O’Hara’s assessment that Santo is an attack-minded coach, he has typically adopted a cautious style of play while at Wolves and is not something which fits in with the DNA that Daniel Levy promised supporters.
