Eric Dier jokingly accused Norwich City goalkeeper Tim Krul of being paid by Mo Salah to ensure Son Heung-min did not win the Golden Boot.
Son was one goal behind Salah in the race for the Golden Boot heading into the final game of the campaign.
It looked as though it was not going to be the South Korean’s day as Krul made a couple of excellent stops in the second half to deny the Spurs forward.
Son eventually had the last laugh as he converted twice in Tottenham’s 5-0 win at Carrow Road to share the Golden Boot with Salah, who also found the back of the net in Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Wolves.
Before Son got his goals, Dier was heard asking Krul: “What’s Salah giving you?”
