The match looked destined to end in a bore draw with just minutes left on the clock before Harry Kane popped up with a crucial headed goal late on.
Eric Dier put in a particularly impressive performance at the back, earning a clean sheet courtesy of a headed clearance off the line and some great all-round defending.
