Video: Erik Lamela scores two goals on La Liga debut for Sevilla

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Erik Lamela has capped his La Liga debut for Sevilla with two goals.

The Argentine left North London as part of the deal which brought Bryan Gil to Tottenham, having been at the club since 2013.

The 29-year-old came off the bench in the 46th minute against Rayo Vallecano, who had been reduced to ten men in the 16th minute.

Lamela put Sevilla 2-0 ahead in the 55th minute when his effort on goal took a wicked deflection to find the back of the net.

The Argentine bagged his second of the game in the 79th minute when he found himself unmarked in the penalty area and slid the ball home to cap a memorable competitive debut for his new club.
