It may have been touch or go as to whether Christian Eriksen was going to remain a Spurs player this summer, but he is guaranteed to be with the Lilywhites until at least January now.
The Great Dane is working himself up into quite the bit of form too this season. Eriksen came off the bench to mastermind a late win against Villa, played a big part in Spurs’ point at the Etihad, and scored in the North London Derby.
He has now followed this up with two goals for Denmark against Gibraltar and a delightful first-time cross for a Robert Skov goal.
