Former Tottenham star Christian Eriksen was seen applauding the Lilywhite fans at full-time this evening, with Brentford holding Antonio Conte’s men to a 0-0 draw.

Eriksen even signed a shirt for one Tottenham fan in the front row, a green third kit from the club’s historic run to the Champions League final – a reminder of the Dane’s fantastic career in North London.

The midfielder was also seen embracing some of his old Tottenham teammates at full-time, with Lucas Moura, Ben Davies and Heung-min Son having chats with the opposition player.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I’m at the point where I would be surprised if Eriksen doesn’t come back to Spurs in the summer. It just makes sense for everyone involved. The only other scenario I see is staying loyal to Brentford after they took a chance on him.
