Video: Ex-Arsenal man believes ‘there’s trouble ahead’ for Spurs with Mourinho

Former Arsenal winger Perry Groves believes there is trouble on the horizon for Tottenham Hotspur and Jose Mourinho.

He insisted that Daniel Levy took a gamble by appointing Mourinho, as he believed the Portuguese coach could guide the team to a top-four finish.

However, after a poor run of form, he feels that the Spurs boss has reverted to his usual tactics of defending deep and playing on the counter-attack.

He also warned Spurs fans that the club might not have any choice but to sell Harry Kane this summer due to the financial situation they find themselves in.

With pundits resorting to knee-jerk reactions after just one game back, football is well and truly back again. In all seriousness, we should be able to judge Jose more fairly after the final eight games of the season as he now has a fully fit squad to work with. I am confident that Kane will find the back of the net with regularity once he gets into his groove.
