Dele Alli is currently going through what is arguably the toughest period in his short career as he is failing to live up to the high standards he set himself over the past few seasons.
Alli was pushed back into a defensive role against Liverpool and was criticised by some fans for his ineffectiveness, although he looked sharp against Red Star Belgrade in a more advanced position.
Ex-England manager, Sam Allardyce, has now claimed that Dele is still a talented player and he wants to see the best out of him again.
However, Big Sam added that a player can never think he has reached his peak and doesn’t have to continue working hard.
“You can never think you’ve reached a peak & don’t have to work as hard.” ?
“If it’s something he needs to change then I hope he does it.” ?
“He’s a hugely talented player.” ?
Sam Allardyce hopes we’ll see the best of @Dele_Official again
