Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has claimed that Rafael Benitez is a superior manager to Nuno Espirito Santo.
Everton moved to appoint the former Liverpool boss as their replacement for Carlo Ancelotti on Wednesday with Spurs confirming the arrival of Nuno just a matter of hours later.
Jordan claimed that Nuno is yet to prove himself as a manager of a top club while Benitez’s track record speaks for itself having won the Champions League, Europa League, La Liga and the FA Cup.
Both clubs will be looking for a vastly improved campaign having finished last season in seventh and tenth respectively.
🇪🇸 “Rafa’s a better manager [than Nuno].”
👊 “Rafa has a bigger track record at bigger and better clubs.”
