Many Spurs fans will remember the name Steven Caulker as one of the most promising academy centre-backs of yesteryear.
Unfortunately, after three loan spells away from Spurs and 29 professional appearances for the Lilywhites to his name, Caulker was sold to Cardiff City in 2013 (Wikipedia).
The defender, now 28, is currently plying his trade for Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
Caulker managed to pop up with the winner for his side today in one of the only matches to actually go ahead in Europe (EmpireoftheKop).
