Ex-Tottenham manager, Harry Redknapp, has urged Premier League players to take action and give from the heart regarding voluntary pay cuts, rather than being forced into it.
This comes just a day after Daniel Levy announced that all non-playing staff at Spurs would be entering furlough, meaning that would be taking a 20% cut in pay (Sky Sports).
Meanwhile, the high-paid Premier League stars are still raking in their wages, despite the competition being suspended for the foreseeable future (Guardian).
Redknapp revealed what he thinks the players should do in an interview this week:
?”I would like to see them do it from the heart”
