Tottenham Hotspur may have one of the best and fittest squads in Europe right now, but that wasn’t the case when Pochettino took over.
Brad Friedel has now revealed that there were turbulent times during the first 24 months of the Argentine’s reign, as he cut the deadwood from his squad.
The ex-Spurs keeper says some players could not adapt to the workload, and Pochettino had to get them out of the club.
The likes of Paulinho, Holtby, Capoue, Kaboul, Stambouli, Chiriches, Soldado, and Adebayor all left during Poch’s first full summer window back in 2015.
