Tottenham Hotspur may have lifted the Audi Cup this week, but that has done little to take the focus off Daniel Levy and his transfer activities.
The window started like a dream for Spurs fans as they saw Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke come in within hours of each other (BBC), however, things have stalled since then.
Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso have been linked (Mirror), but there are no deals in place as of yet, and some Tottenham fans are getting restless. So much so, in fact, that many have taken to Twitter to get the #LevyOut hashtag trending.
Ex-Spurs player, Jamie O’Hara, has hit out at these fans…
“Spurs are now a top football club. You can’t say that’s not down to Levy.” ?
“Levy built the training ground and stadium, he got the players in.” ?
“For a #THFC fan to say ‘get Levy out’ is completely wrong.” ?
