Former Chelsea defender, Jason Cundy has waxed lyrical about Harry Kane and Son Heung-min and suggested that the pair do not get the credit they deserve.
Kane and Son have both started the season on fire, with the former leading the Premier League’s assist charts and the latter having scored the most goals in the division so far (PremierLeague.com).
Cundy is not exactly known to be complimentary towards Spurs, which is understandable given his Chelsea connection, but the pundit did not hold back while raving about the Spurs duo this week.
He insisted that Son is as good as Liverpool pair, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, while also suggesting that Kane will go down as Tottenham’s greatest ever player and England’s greatest ever goalscorer.
Watch what Cundy said on talkSPORT’s Sports Bar:
👊 “Son is up there with Mane & Salah!”
👀 “Kane could go down as #THFC’s best ever player.. England’s best goalscorer.”
💪 “Kane is up there with what Rooney was doing for Man Utd & England.”
