Danny Rose was back in action for Tottenham Hotspur last night, having been named in the starting eleven for the club’s U21 side in a pre-season friendly against Enfield Town.
Rose, who is still under contract at Watford has been back training with the north Londoners this summer, despite having left the club a year ago (The Sun).
The Watford Observer claimed earlier this month that Rose is training at Spurs at his own request as he looks to secure a move away from Vicarage Road ahead of the new campaign.
The 32-year-old made 214 appearances in Tottenham colours across all competitions during his time at the club and appeared in the 2015 League Cup final and 2019 Champions League final (transfermarkt), having joined from Leeds United in 2007.

It is great to see that Rose still has an excellent relationship with the club, who are more than happy to help him in his efforts to secure a new contract elsewhere.
It would not be surprising to see Rose return to Tottenham in a coaching capacity in the future, having previously helped out while he was frozen out of the first team under Jose Mourinho.
