Video: Former Premier League chairman agrees with Lord Sugar’s view of PlayersTogether

Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has agreed with Lord Sugar’s verdict of #PlayersTogether.

Premier League footballers from all twenty clubs have come together to make a promise to support the NHS while it tackles coronavirus (COVID19).

Players will donate money to a group of charities called NHS Charities Together where the money will then be given to specific charities within that group at times when it is needed most during the coronavirus pandemic.

Sugar, who was once chairman of Tottenham Hotspur took to Twitter to question whether it could be a PR ploy to take the heat off the players.

Jordan has agreed with Sugar while calling it a deflation of the initiative
