Video: Former Spur backs UEFA decision and tips Guardiola for City exit

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara believes that Manchester City could be about to lose Pep Guardiola.

It was announced yesterday that the current Premier League champions have been banned from European club competition for the next two seasons after being found to have committed “serious breaches” of Uefa’s club licensing and financial fair play regulations whilst also receiving a fine of 30m euros (£25m).

Despite substantial investment in their squad over recent years, City are yet to win the Champions League.

Their dreams of winning European football’s most prestigious club competition were ended by Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham last season in a dramatic match at the Etihad following a late VAR decision.

O’Hara claims that City deserve to be punished if they have breached the rules and could be set to pay the ultimate price with the potential exit of the Spaniard.

Spurs were 2-0 winners in their last Premier League match against Guardiola’s side in North London.
