Former Tottenham striker, Darren Bent has claimed that Mauricio Pochettino has not achieved enough with Spurs to be considered a world-class manager.
The former Spurs boss has been heavily linked with the Manchester United and Manchester City hot seats over recent weeks (The Daily Mirror).
Bent pointed to the fact that he did not win silverware during his five and a half years in North London and insisted that the Argentine cannot be included in the same bracket as the likes of Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti.
The former Tottenham man even claimed that he considers Brendan Rodgers and Mikel Arteta to be better coaches than Pochettino.
Watch what he said on talkSPORT:
👎 “I don’t think Poch is [world class].”
😴 “Just getting #THFC to a CL final, that’s not world level.”
🦊 “I’d put #LCFC’s Rodgers ahead of him. He’s superb.”
🔴 “#Arsenal’s Arteta’s a better coach!”

Spurs Web Opinion
This argument about trophies being the only thing that matters is non-sensical. Pochettino took us really close to winning both the Premier League and the Champions League. In no way does an FA Cup or a Community Shield win come anywhere close to that achievement.
