Tottenham Hotspur’s first-team right-back for the last few seasons, Kieran Trippier, has now completed his move to Spanish side Atletico Madrid (BBC).
Tripps was sold by Spurs for around £20m, four years after the club purchased him from Burnley for just £3.5m (Guardian).
Trippier has been a huge part of the new project under Mauricio Pochettino, as well as Tottenham’s first-ever Champions League final campaign last season.
He will forever be a part of Tottenham’s history, but we must now wish him well for the future. Check out his first interview for Atletico below:
