As a football fan, there are few feelings worse than seeing your kids declare their allegiance to a different football team than the one you support. For English writer and comedian, Frank Skinner, this nightmare has become a reality.
Skinner, who is a life-long West Brom fan, revealed to talkSPORT that despite his best efforts to get his 7-year-old son to support the Baggies, he ended up becoming a Spurs fan.
The comedian talked about how England’s fantastic run in the World Cup last summer was behind his son’s new found love for the Lilywhites.
He also revealed a funny incident that occurred when his son went to meet Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino. Watch the full video below:
"There was a moment where I thought I lost my child."

Spurs Web Opinion
It looks like the identity that Pochettino has created at the club is not only ensuring that players stay and give their all, but has also won the team a lot of new admirers.
The fact that Spurs players form the backbone of Gareth Southgate’s England side is also going to do the club’s prospects of winning new fans no harm.
Just like Manchester United won millions of hearts in the 1990s and 2000s, Pochettino’s Spurs are winning the hearts of a new generation of football fans right now.
