Gareth Bale managed to bag a brace against Burnley this afternoon in a Tottenham 4-0 win over Sean Dyche’s team and he certainly cut a happy figure in his post-match interview.
The Welshman netted inside two minutes after tapping home a Heung-min Son cross before setting up Harry Kane and scoring a second of his own after the break.
After the match, Bale revealed that Spurs had used the Europa League to build momentum and the clean sheet was important for the team today.
