Gareth Bale is up and running again in a Tottenham shirt after coming off the bench and scoring the winner against Brighton last night in the Premier League.
With over seven years between his last two goals for Spurs, it was quite a momentous moment for the Welshman, perhaps aptly coming as a winning header.
After the full-time whistle, Bale claimed that he was pleased to score again in a Lilywhite shirt but put emphasis on doing a job for the team and getting the result over the line.
He also added that it would have been incredible to have scored that goal in front of the fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
