Former Tottenham Hotspur superstar, Gareth Bale has now spoken out on his future at Real Madrid amidst rumours that he may leave this summer.
The Welshman openly admitted in an interview with Sky Sports today that he tried to leave Madrid last year, but the club pulled the plug on the move at the last minute.
Bale was reportedly set to move to Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning on a three-year deal for around £1m-per-week (BBC). More recently, Bale has been linked with a return to Tottenham (Cuatro).
The Welshman insisted in the interview that he wants to play football next season but claims that Real Madrid make things difficult, while admitting that he would at least look at a Premier League proposal.
