Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Gary Lineker took to Twitter to laugh at Davinson Sanchez’s attempt to thwart an attack from Manchester City yesterday.
City were already 2-0 up when goalkeeper Ederson pumped a 66th minute ball upfield with impressive accuracy into the path of lkay Gundogan.
The German easily outmuscled Sanchez’s attempt to take the ball off him and ended up face-first on the floor while Gundogan scored his second goal of the game.
Lineker posted a video of himself watching one of the many television screens in front of him ahead of last night’s BBC Match of the Day show while the piece of play unfolded on the screen in front of him.
