Tottenham Hotspur picked up just their third Premier League victory of the new season when they managed to beat Southampton.
It was a nervy final hour of the match when the home side were reduced to ten men when Serge Aurier was guilty of picking up two bookings in the space of just over four minutes.
Former Arsenal striker and Match of the Day pundit Ian Wright gave Spurs credit after rolling up their sleeves to secure the three points.
Match of the Day host and ex-Spur Gary Lineker joked with Wright after his positive words about his fierce North London rivals.
Wright insisted that his kind words towards Tottenham were not meant begrudgingly and joked that he loved Glenn Hoddle.

While Wright was loathed by Spurs fan during his playing career, he has to be commended for his unbiased view as a pundit.
He is not afraid to praise Tottenham when it is deserved, compared to the likes of Paul Merson who frankly, the less is said about, the better.
