Giovani Lo Celso scored his first league goal for Villarreal last night after his side were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Sevilla.
Lo Celso looked as if he had won the game when his volley into the ground went above Bono and into the roof of the net, only for Joules Kounde to grab an equaliser deep into injury time (La Liga / YouTube).
The Argentine left Spurs in January to join the Yellow Submarine on loan for the remainder of the campaign and has impressed following his return to Spain.
He was named as man of the match in their 1-0 win over Bayern Munich in the quarter-final first leg and was equally as impressive in the return fixture in Germany.
The La Liga outfit are reported to be keen to make the move permanent, however, negotiations will have to start from scratch after the initial loan deal did not include an option to buy him outright (Estadio Deportivo).

Lo Celso is far better suited to La Liga compared to the demands of the Premier League where he struggled to consistently perform, Spurs will be hoping that the form he has shown will allow them to command a healthy transfer fee to re-invest in those players who Antonio Conte wants as part of his rebuild.
