Tottenham Hotspur suffered another away defeat at the hands of Manchester City this afternoon after Phil Foden’s early header proved to be enough for a 1-0 win.
It wasn’t plain sailing for Pep Guardiola’s side with Spurs having plenty of chances and could have easily got something out of the game.
Heung-min Son had two good chances along with Christian Eriksen who went close in the first half. Spurs will also feel that they should have had a penalty when Kyle Walker handballed.
Graeme Souness credited Spurs for their display after predicting before the match that they would not turn up following the heights of Wednesday night.
