Video: Graham Roberts names the only Spurs star who would have got into his side

Grahm Roberts enjoyed great success during his playing days at Tottenham Hotspur having helped the club to lift the FA Cup on two occasions along with the UEFA Cup in 1983/84.

The tough tackling defender played with a number of household names during his time at White Hart Lane including Glenn Hoddle, Steve Perryman and Chris Hughton.

With Jose Mourinho’s current squad having made it to the Carabao Cup final, there is hope among the North London faithful that the club could be set to end their almost thirteen-year wait for a trophy.

Roberts was asked during an exclusive video interview with SpursWeb about which members of the current Spurs side would have made it into the starting eleven during his playing days.

The 61-year-old claimed that only Harry Kane would have made it onto the same pitch as his former-team mates, when quizzed if Heung-min Son would also be a consideration he did pause and mull it over before praising the ability of Steve Archibald.

Take a look at the video below for Roberts’ comments on the matter.
