Video: Harry Kane fires Spurs ahead against West Brom

Tottenham Hotspur have finally broken the deadlock against West Bromwich Albion after 52 minutes of action in North London.

The goal came when Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg picked up the ball outside of the Baggies penalty area and threaded a brilliant pass into the path of Harry Kane, who took a touch with his left foot before placing the ball into the far corner with his right foot.

Kane had three good chances which he failed to take during the first half and will now be looking to add a second to try and put the game beyond Sam Allardyce’s side.

Spurs can have Hugo Lloris also to thank after the Frenchman produced a good save on the verge of half time.
