Tottenham Hotspur are just five days away from potential Champions League glory, and Harry Kane seems confident that he will play some part in the match.

Speaking to the press today, Kane said that he felt good, fit and ready in time for Spurs’ first ever Champions League final.

He went on to say that it is Pochettino’s choice as to what part he plays in the match, however, he did imply that he would at the very least make the bench.

Kane said: “It’s been special to watch, and whether I play or I’m on the bench on Saturday, I’ll be ready to do everything I can for this team.”

  1. Kane is a keen player who loves to play and wants to start. This is commendable and a great attitude. We must remember however, that he claimed to be back to full form and fitness following the World Cup but was not fully fit until December. I’d rather see him give his all for the last 30 minutes than to start and risk further injury. I am also hoping we get Harry Kane – Spurs Star Striker to play in the CL final. I get concerned when writers refer to him as England captain. Captain England hasn’t helped Spurs any this year. International football has hurt many clubs but none more than Tottenham.
