Video: Harry Kane misses penalty for Spurs against Forest

Tottenham Hotspur have managed to squander the opportunity to double their lead against Nottingham Forest.

Harry Kane stepped up from twelve yards out after his side were awarded a penalty and he decided to put the ball to Dean Henderson’s right, only for the forest goalkeeper to guess right and push the ball to safety.

The penalty was awarded when Steve Cook handled in the area and was only shown a yellow card following a VAR review after it was decided that Kane would not have scored from the resulting incident.

The miss was Kane’s first in 22 attempts for Tottenham and instead hold onto their narrow margain against Steve Cooper’s side.
