Tottenham Hotspur have broken the deadlock against Liverpool after thirteen minutes of action in North London.
It was Harry Kane who found the back of the net after he latched onto a brilliant through pass from Tanguy Ndombele on the right hand side of the penalty area and played the ball back across Allison into the far post.
It was Kane’s first goal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League since May 9th (nine appearances) to help silence his critics following his slow start in front of goal this season.
Liverpool could have gone ahead inside the first two minutes when Andy Robinson put his header the wrong side of the post.
