Tottenham Hotspur have taken the lead against Everton after 24 minutes of action at Goodison Park.

The goal came when a cross into the box from Tanguy Ndombele saw Toffees defender Michael Keane fail to deal with his clearance and the ball fell at the feet of Harry Kane.

The Spurs marksman brought the ball under control and volleyed the ball into the bottom corner with his left foot to score his twentieth Premier League goal of the campaign.

It has been a relatively cagey affair up until Kane’s goal, with Everton having had the best chance to break the deadlock through Richarlison.
