Harry Kane was able to laugh off his penalty miss against Nottingham Forest today, largely due to the fact that the England captain netted a brace and Spurs won 2-0.
However, the penalty came at a crucial time in the match, as Steve Cook handled it in his own box to prevent Kane from nodding home. Unfortunately, the Spurs striker saw his resulting shot saved by England teammate Dean Henderson.
In his post-match interview, Kane revealed he was attempting to put it in the top left corner, but gave Henderson credit for the save and laughed about a chat he had with the keeper after the full-time whistle.
🗣️ "Fair play, it was a good save and we had a laugh about it" 😅🤝

Spurs Web Opinion:
If you’re going to miss a penalty, do it in a game where you grab a brace and all three points. Harry had to miss at some point after so many in a row and I’m sure it will be business as usual next time around.
